PROJECT BRIEF l 2021

Proposal:

Many senior students from SKC drive to school, and by the time you get to your senior years, you may want to drive to school too. At that stage, it is likely that not all students will be driving EV’s. What incentives should SKC implement to encourage more students to reduce carbon emissions in their daily commute to school?

For your research project, you need to write a report that answers that includes the proposal above, whilst also answering the following 8 sections:

Proposal STRUCTURE

a. Introduction – what is your assessment about and summarize your viewpoints in 2 sentences.

b. Magnetic theory: Explain what magnets and magnetic fields are

c. Electric motors and magnets: Explain how a simple electric motor works using a magnet.

d. The Technology: Discuss how electric motor technology uses magnetism to function in electric cars.

e. Benefits of the technology: Discuss of the benefits of using EV technology compared to other existing technologies.

f. Disadvantages of the technology: Explain the disadvantages of this technology over other existing of technologies.

g. Recommendations: Provide recommendations saying how SKC should change its planning to encourage more students to reduce carbon emissions in their daily commute to school.

h. Sources: Include a Bibliography/Reference list at the end of your project.
